He was predeceased by: his parents, Olline Sweeton and Lonnie D Sweeton; his brother Terry Sweeton; and his stepson Timothy Raper. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Sweeton; his stepchildren, April Gatlin (Randall), Shannon Cortes (Jamie) and Kathea Coto (Edgard); his grandchildren, Infinity Gatlin-Hayes (Jacob), Siddhartha Gatlin, Willow Cortes, Neko Cortes, Violet Cortes, Evie Coto and Abel Coto; his great grandchild Zen Gatlin-Hayes; his siblings, Daniel Sweeton and Angelia Rogers (Timothy); his aunt Glenda Watson; his cousins, Billy Nichols and Lisa Anderson; and his niece Melanie Dale Lawson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
