He was predeceased by: his brother Richard Davis of Marietta; and his parent Virginia Davis of Cleveland, Tennessee.. He is survived by: his wife Joann; his daughter Sharon Davis Silvers (Scott) of Old Fort, TN; his son-in-law Scott Silvers; his daughter Linda P. Davis (Trey) of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Austin Silvers (Mishon) of Cleveland, TN, Kevin Silvers of Cleveland, TN and Anna Silvers of Fort Worth, TX; and his aunts, Bobbie Cope and Wilma Nipper. He is also survived by nephews, nieces & cousins.
