He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce McAmis; his brother Kenneth McAmis; his brother-in-law Johnny Miller; his grandson Michael Veazey; and his parents, Charles Edward and Mary Lou McAmis.
He is survived by: his children, David McAmis, Rachel Veazey (Doug) and Stephen McAmis (Leslie); his grandchildren, Ben Veazey, Frank McAmis, Marissa Dudash (John), Kyle McAmis (Summer), Logan McAmis and Mary McAmis; his great grandchildren, Ashton Hooper, Liam McAmis and Dawson McAmis; and his siblings, David McAmis, Linda Miller and Marilyn Huskins (Terry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
