She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Coppinger Wood and Linton Shields; and her husband Bobby E. Hilliard. She is survived by: her son Garland Hilliard (Jan Walker Hilliard); her granddaughter Lauren Limburg (Corey); and her siblings, Virginia Truett, Eddie Arthur of Texas and Wallace Arthur of Texas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
