He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Alton Knapp and Helen Knapp (Turner); his former wife Susan Knapp (Hamilton); and his brother Phillip Knapp. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Goudzward; his sons, Ted Knapp, Tom Knapp (Julianne) and Fred Knapp; his sisters, Barbara Lamont and Michelle Garman (Mark); his grandchildren, Jamie Knapp, Jessica Bachner (Dean), Kacie McPherson (Chris), Haleigh Knapp, Shaidan Leach (Tyler), Tailynn Knapp and Braidyn Knapp; his great grandchildren, Josie, Julian, Ava and Zoe; and his stepchildren, Stephanie Goudzward, Joe Goudzward (Amanda), Jack Goudzward and Jim Goudzward (Michelle). He is also survived by eight step grandchildren.
