He was predeceased by: his parents, Penny Whaley and Betty Whaley; his siblings, Gary and Connie Whaley; and his son Joshua Sliger.
He is survived by: his sons, Billy, Andrew and Franklin Whaley; and his siblings, Brenda Brewer (Ricky) and Randall Whaley (Phebe). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
