He was predeceased by: his wife Era Ann Black; his daughter Glenda Rae Waters; his parents, George Black and Gertie Black; and his siblings, Homer Black, Robert Black, Cora Bell Talent, Birdie Patrick, Annie Morris, Imogene Hooper and Irene McDowell.
He is survived by: his daughter Betty Maney; his grandchildren, Alesia Cabrera, Calvin Maney, Doug Maney, Dana, Tony Roberts, Bridget and Glenn Marr; and his great grandchildren, Brandon Maney, Ryan, Tiffany McKinney, Hailey, Kenny Hodgson, Michaela Park, Knox Hagler, Mackenzie Marr, Shalah, Ilya Smirnov and Houston Marr (Bubba). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
