He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray and Judy; his grandparents, Ivins, Lenora Martin, Newell and Ella Thurman; his stepdaughter Crystal Ogle; and his mother-in-law Patricia Womac.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Thurman; his children, Jessica Campbell (Chris), Jeffrey Thurman and Rusty Thurman (Jessica); his grandchildren, Carrie Ann Willis, Madyson Thurman and Lilly Campbell; his siblings, Terry Thurman (Dana), Sammy Duncan and Lisa Duncan Miller; his brothers-in-law, Junior Gaskill (Bambi), Anthony Gaskill (Brandy) and Tracy Bernatti (John); and his close friends, Jeff Beshears, Tim Crowden, Ralph Davis and Jerry Nichols. He is also survived by numerous several cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family and friends.
