He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles R. Abercrombie and Linda Gray Abercrombie. He is survived by: his siblings, Brenda Abercrombie, James "Sam" Abercrombie, Patrick Abercrombie (Angie) and Jerry Cartwright (Cathy); his nieces and nephews, Alex Abercrombie, James Daniel Abercrombie, Robin Abercrombie, Jonathan Abercrombie, Richie Carroll, Lee Cartwright and Nathan Cartwright; and his close friends, Tom and Sara Shannon. He is also survived by numerous great nieces, great nephews, extended family, and friends.
