He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank B. Mattson and Lois Mattson. He is survived by: his brother Bart Mattson (Julie) of Cleveland; his nephews, Nick Mattson and Hunter Mattson of Cleveland; his niece Jessica Mattson of Murfreesboro; and his great-niece Payton Jones of Murfreesboro.

Due to the rising numbers of COVID cases, the family would appreciate mask wearing and social distancing.
