She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Pendergrass and Lola Pendergrass (Davis); her husband Cletus Holland Benton; her son Steve Benton; and her grandparents, Will, Mae Davis (Burdett), Oscar and Addie Pendergrass (Fridell).
She is survived by: her children, Holly Ann Benton of Knoxville and Brad Holland Benton (Wendy) of Charleston, TN; and her grandchildren, Neeley Benton Cain (Jonathan) of Cleveland, TN, Luke Holland Benton of Cleveland, TN and Parker Davis Benton (Hannah) of Cleveland, TN. She is also survived by one sister, three nephews and several cousins.
