She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Toomey and Maude Toomey of Etowah; her husband Glenn Stratton; and her granddaughter Shannon Childers. She is survived by: her son Ron; her sister Virginia Henderson of Knoxville; her nieces, Connie Hutchins and Ann Almond Pope; her nephew Charles Almond; her grandson Shaun Childers (Dianne); and her close friend Sherry Harris. She is also survived by six great grandsons.
