He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Lee and Blanche Davis Lee; and his brother Wayne Lee. He is survived by: his wife Betty Burris Lee; his children, Jamie Lee (Donna) and Angie Neely (PeeWee); his granddaughters, Beth Lee, Christy Haley (Steven) and Katie Neely; his great grandchildren, Bryson Hullender, Rayna Hullender, Rayleigh Hullender and Zane Lee Ross; his siblings, Max Lee (Stephanie) and Carolyn Roark (Dee); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Lee, Marilyn Hindman (Ray), Kathy Bowman (Mike) and Ed Burris (Pam). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Maple Grove Baptist Church (9525 Birchwood Pike, Harrison, TN 37341). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital or Maple Grove Baptist Church Children's ministry.
