He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Hayes and Betty Hayes; and his brother Steve Hayes. He is survived by: his children, Sarah Clark (Andy), Elizabeth Gatlin (Tanner) and Jacob Gatlin-Hayes (Infinity); his grandchildren, Hayes Clark and Zen Gatlin-Hayes; the mother of his children Nicka Boone; his brother Barry Hayes (Cathy); and his sister-in-law Lorraine Hayes. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
