She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Ownby and Mary Ogle Ownby; her husband Reed Buckner; and her sisters, Betty "Jo" Harbinson, Sylvia "Toot" Casey, Burless "Chick" Ownby and Lefford "Footsie" Ownby (Jay "JC" Ownby).

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Dover (Neal) of Georgetown, Patricia Buckner of Chattanooga and Reed Bukner Jr. (Teresa) of Cleveland; and her brother Don Ownby of Cleveland. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
