He is survived by: his wife Thressa Almond Stockwell Mears; his children, Daniel Mears (Shannon), Albert Mears Jr., Dwight Stockwell (Heather), Trenton Stockwell (Cheyenne), Elizabeth Parker, Kim Vick (Shane) and Skylyn Womack (Garrett); and his grandchildren, Heather, Tiffany, Scottie, Jay Birdwell, Sha Birdwell Nunley and Aterra Mears.
