She was predeceased by: the father of her children Richard Owensby; and her husband Leon Gordon. She is survived by: her children, Delores Bomar (Jerry), Steve Owensby (Pat), Lisa Owensby and Tina Terry (Mike); her brother Donald Barger; and her grandchildren, Gabrielle Bennett (Ryan), Bailey Bomar, Shayne Owensby (Katelyn), Taryn Covington, Megan Covington, Chase Hobbs, Candis McCord (Crystal) and Alex Rivers (Nate). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
