It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walton Smith Jr. (Clarksville, Tennessee), who passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walton N. Smith, Sr. and Mary Mock Smith; and his former wife Judy Smith. He is survived by: his wife Marty Smith; his sisters, Mary Milam Jenkins and Corinne Smith; his children, Walton N. Smith, III (Amy Augenblick), Nancy R. Smith (Chris Goldman) and Ashley S. Alexander (Carson); his grandchildren, Cal McKay (Amy), Robin Ann Fleming (Brandon) and Chase McKay (Mitzi); his great grandchildren, Isabella Smith, Elizabeth Smith, Clara Goldman, George Goldman, Walton Goldman, Thomas Alexander and Madeline Alexander; his grandchildren, Durrett McKay, McKay Fleming, Logan Fleming, Carson Harper and Miles McKay; and also Bette Hestle.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Clarksville Country Club (334 Fairway Dr, Clarksville, TN 37043).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Clarksville Junior Golf Tour (c/o Diana Samuels 225 Richaven Road, Clarksville, TN 37043) or Good Samaritan Ministry at First Baptist Church.
