He is survived by: his wife Sonya Haynes; his daughter Michelle Diaz (Edwin); his brothers, Ken Haynes (Ruth) and Robert W. Haynes (Tammy); and his grandchildren, Mirabella, Gwendolyn, Brooklynn, Emiliano and Nina. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
