She was predeceased by: her father John Ashford, Sr.; her son Anthony O'Neal Ashford; and her siblings, Mary Jean Brooks, Frank Ashford and John Ashford Jr..
She is survived by: her mother Mary Mitchell; her husband Cornell Wright, Sr.; her children, Alphonso Ashford (Allison), Maurice Smith, Cornell Wright Jr., John Cory Wright, Pebbles Poole (Earl) and Nittia Mitchell (Harnes); her daughter-in-law LuShawn Ashford; her siblings, Dorothy Lewis, Helen Williams (Edgar), Charles Ashford Sr. (Ann), Nathaniel Ashford and Vanjual Roberson (Eddie); and her sister-in-law Ollie Ashford.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home (1510 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37040). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
