It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Gene Cotton of Clarksville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Robert Gene may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his father Harold Cotton. He is survived by: his mother Marylou Bryant Cotton; his wife Charlotte Cotton; his daughter Megin Irons (Herb); and his siblings, Christopher Cotton (Susan), Daniel Cotton (Mary), Bonnie Rhodes (Lyn), Joanne Springer, Cheryl Easley (Lester) and Dawn Dickerson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home (1510 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37040). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
