He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth'Karene'Newman; his parents, Ernest Newman and Velma Newman; and his siblings, Wayne Newman, Granville Newman, Roy Newman, Tommy Newman, James Newman and Gail White.
He is survived by: his daughter Yeolanda King; his sisters, Margaret Collier and Brenda Bennett; his granddaughter Lisa Hobbs (Nathan); his sisters, Tiffany Duncan (Caleb) and Jessica King; his great grandchild Joshua Watts; his grandson Wyatt Hobbs; and his sister-in-law Vera Hogue (Keith). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Good Springs FWB Church Cemetery (2330 Goodsprings Rd, Pleasant View, TN 37146).
