As Monte departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Monte may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Monte leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert "J. R." and Beverly Weems Mitchell. He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Cathey (Ashley) of Dickson, TN and Jamie Mitchell of Clarksville, TN; his siblings, Sheila Fiser (Mark) of Charlotte, TN and Bo Mitchell (Chastity) of Bellevue, TN.; his grandchildren, Ashton Stokes and Liam Rubio; and his nephews, Shae Fiser, Parker and Brady Mitchell.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Spann Funeral Home (1961 Hwy 48 N, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
