She was predeceased by: her parents, Garfield Barnes and Sarah Barnes; and her close friend Plaz Woulard. She is survived by: her children, Shirley Evans and Wesley Evans, Jr. (Ebony); her grandchildren, Serenity, Wesley III, Jeremiah, Elijah, Cassidy, Trinity and Delilah; her siblings, John Barnes (Deloris), Connie Trotter (Willie), Rose Barnes and Wanda Campbell (Gregory); and the father of her children Wesley Evans, Sr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Sykes Funeral Home (424 Franklin St, Clarksville, TN 37040). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
