She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard T. Haley and Effie Newcomb Haley. She is survived by: her husband Homer Johnson; her children, Thomas Johnson and Pamela Shrader; her siblings, Joe Richard Haley, Dorothy Ann Chandler, Mary Elizabeth Seay and Lillian Newcomb Cheatham; her children, Patsy Coppedge of Clarksville, TN, Mary McDaniel of Clarksville, TN, Lenette Newsom (Terry) of Southside, TN, Donnie Johnson (Becky) of Clarksville, TN. and Ronnie Johnson (Linda) of Clarksville, TN.; her sisters, Cornelia Seay of Allensville, KY and Ruth Turner of Clarksville, TN.; and her grandsons, Ronnie Johnson Jr., Matthew Johnson, Donnie Johnson Jr., Nicholas Johnson, Eddie McDaniel Jr., Chris Johnson and Joshua Newsom. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home (1209 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37040). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens (2930 Hwy 41 A South, Clarksville, TN 37043).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Mildred's memory to Gentiva Hospice.
