He is survived by: his wife Terri Vaughn; his children, Jon Vaughn (Alecia), Andrew Ferst (Lily), Amanda Vaughn Boyd (Bryan) of Clarksville, Amy Hing (James) of Clarksville and Kati Hurst (Josh) of Knoxville, TN; and his grandchildren, Alden Vaughn, Ethan Vaughn, Jaylee Vaughn, Parker Boyd, Mason Boyd, Jackson Boyd, Elijah "Tater" Ferst, Henry Hurst, Dylan Hurst and Wyatt Hurst.
