He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Dale Meadows and Mary Osborne Meadows; his wife JoAnn Adams Meadows; and his siblings, Billy Meadows (Norma), Jeri Claire Meadows-Swartz and Sophia Jean Clark (Thomas).
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry McCarty (Albert), Sandra Parchman (Bill Poteet), Melisssa Meadows Sites (Clif) and Kathy Britt (David); his grandchildren, Leanne Parchman Venable (Travis), Emilee Poteet Gray (Wesley), BJ McCarty (Christine) and Nick McCarty (Carrie); and his great grandchildren, Sophie and Olivia Venable.
