He was predeceased by: his brothers-in-law, Hugh Howton and Dennis Herring. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Burcham Baggett; his children, Steven Baggett (Angela), Haley Baggett (Ed), Hannah Baggett, Jamie Brannon, Amy Slayton and Amanda Smith; his grandchildren, Tyler Brannon, Lauren Stafford (Chris), Austin Slayton, Lane Smiley and Junior Smiley; and his great grandchildren, Chloe Stafford, Myla Brannon and Mailee Brannon.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West (5817 Fort Campbell Blvd, Hopkinsville, KY 42240).
