She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor Weaver Porterfield and John Porterfield; and her parents-in-law, Dr. Sheila Brody Kamerman and Morton Kamerman. She is survived by: her friends, Debbie and Kathy; her husband Elliot; her daughters, Rachel Anne and Rebecca Brody; her son-in-law David Knight; her granddaughters, Merit and Ziva; her sisters, Mary and Sarah Porterfield; and her siblings-in-law, Arthur Shippee, Laura Kamerman-Katz, Alan Katz and Nathan Kamerman.
A graveside service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the West End Synagogue Cemetery (2113 15th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37208). A shiva was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
