He is survived by: his daughter Pamela Satterthwaite; his grandson Andre Christian; his wife Jenice Quarles; his children, Beverly Quarles Bell (Bobby), Debra Quarles, Ira Quarles, Jr. of Clarksville, TN and Vincent Quarles (Dee) of Clarksville, TN; his brother Sandy Quarles (Lillie) of Kokomo, IN; his grandchildren, Bobby Bell, II, Te'Andre Bell, Kieran Quarles, Amari Quarles, Nevaeh Quarles, Jasmine Johnson, Ralph Satterthwaithe, Jr., Peyton Satterthwaithe, Kayden Satterthwaithe, Jumaane Satterthwaithe and Sophia; his great grandchildren, Jhuwon Davis, Johnaya Davis, Jayden Johnson and Saddig Bell; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Alice Quarles, Anita Jelks, Joyce Chestnut, Grace Hutchinson and Rev. Imogene Bryant. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
