He is survived by: his wife Joan Wills (Wills); his children, Carmen Wise, Sandra Leach (Michael), Samuel Smith (Donna), Kenneth Brogden, Steven Brogden (Laura) and Sherry Mikell (Patrick); his grandchildren, Crystal, Daron, Sam, III, Darius, Deon, Justin, Donetta, Rashod, Rion, Reyon, Avier, Rayshawn and Raina; his sisters, Jean Jeter, Gilda Younger and Sheila Walker; and also, Al Green and Sam Cooke.
