He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Ball and Eufowler Cothran Ball; his son Terry Wayne Ball; and his sisters, Regina Terry, Myrle Parker, Ivy Hicks and Joyce Wallace.
He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Thompson; his grandson Dylan Ball Terrell; and his friend Jeff Hargrove. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
