She was predeceased by: her parents, Emile Richard and Jeannette Richard; her husband Roger LaPointe; her son Mark Albert Dentz; and her granddaughter Danielle LaPointe.

She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey LaPointe, Roger E. LaPointe (Lisa), Robert LaPointe (Debra) and Denise LaPointe Lynch (Roger); and her grandchildren, Mitchell, Madison, Jennifer, Sarah, Anthony, Evan, Alex and Josh. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
