It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bettie Jean Smith of Clarksville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Elliott and Bessie Elliott. She is survived by: her children, Lonzo, Joey (Cynthia), Henry Smith and Valerie Smith-Merriweather (Orlanda); and her siblings, Clarence, Michael Elliott, Josephine Wall (William), Glenda Reaves (Barry), Kathy Clark (Donny) and Dorothy File (Bernard).
