He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Crockett Hartman and Virginia Elna Ewer Hartman; his brothers, Major Benjamin Crockett "Pat" Hartman, Jr. and Fred Arthur Hartman; and his sister-in-law Pamela Gail Kizer.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Hartman; his children, Heather Welsh (Todd) of Woodbridge, VA and Pat Hartman (Jen) of Clovis, NM; his stepchildren, Jacqueline Clinger of Shalimar, FL and Brad Clinger (Kristin) of O'Fallon, IL; his grandchildren, Kailee Welsh, Carli, Sam Hartman, Ella Grace Clinger, Nathan and Ava Clinger; and his siblings, Dianne Crawford (Gaylon) of Somerville, TN, Debra Schamberg (Bob) of Joelton, TN and Mike Hartman (Cindy) of Hendersonville, TN. He is also survived by numerous cousins and nephews.
