He was predeceased by: his son Thorne Gunter; and his parents, Wes Gunter and Hettie Gunter. He is survived by: his children, Kenny Gunter (Dena) and Whitney Gunter; his siblings, JoAnn Gunter, Johnny Ray Gunter (Cindy), Judy Gunter, Debbie Ledbetter (Elmer) and Don Gunter; his grandchildren, Aaliyah, Joshua, Jasimine, Tyson, Aayden, Paxton, Hendrix, Myra and My'heir; his great grandchild Adlee; and the mother of his children Lisa Gunter.
