She was predeceased by: her husband Garnie Lee Calton; her parents, Cleveland Mitchell and Rosa Robinson Mitchell; and her siblings, George, Clarence, Henry, Charles Mitchell, Mary Barrett, Kate Holt and Carrie Mitchell.
She is survived by: her sisters, Grace Johnson, Hazel Barton and Maude Christian. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends.
