He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Doxakis and Jean Grantham Keyes; and his siblings, Melvin Lamar Doxakis and Deborah Maria Doxakis. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Blair Doxakis; his daughters, Alexandra Doxakis, Stephanie Doxakis Johnson (David), Chet Powell (Amanda), Carmen Alaina Scott and Amanda Causey (Travis); his grandchildren, Genevieve Rose Doxakis, Aidia Elise Powell, Brayden Causey, Kyra Powell and Jack Powell; and his sisters, Lemonia Ezernack, Jeannie Doxakis and Christy Schwartz (Clarence). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Elm Springs United Methodist Church.
