We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2023, at the age of 95, Ruble Reed (Church Hill, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Murray Reed and Ethel Reed; his former wife Velma Fansler Reed; his daughter Patty; his stepdaughter Lisa Alley; his sisters, Trula Moody, Delcie Renfro and Christine Peters; and his nephews, Mike and Rick Meade.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his daughter Rebecca Reed; his stepson Danny Christian (Melanie); his son-in-law David Alley (Sherry); his stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Alley, Dr. Samantha Ketron (Brody), Matthew Christian and Emily Christian; his great grandchild Allie Ketron; and his nieces and nephews, Ray, Jerry, Harvey, Spencer Moody David, Danny Hurd, Larry Fansler, Ladonna Dobson, Pam Livesay and Terrie Hurd.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital in Ruble's name, or to First Baptist Church in Church Hill.
