He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bell and Mary Ellen Dykes (Davis); and his siblings, Paul, Robert of Riley, J. E., Dee Dykes, Grace Dobbs, Virgie Pratt and Edith Dykes.
He is survived by: his wife Billie Kay Dykes; his daughters, Lisa Kauffman (Robert), Kelly Riner (Milburn), Jeanie Marsh and Kayla Laws (Daniel); his grandchildren, Mandy (Scott), Tyler (Kaycee), Megan (Peden), Bradly (Jamison), Morgan, Matt and Mason; his great grandchildren, Kaeson, David, Kaylee, Bryce, Owen, Hunter, Neyland, Paisley and Brooks; his sister Mary Louise Price; and his mother-in-law Doris Sandidge. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home (320 Grandview St, Church Hill, TN 37642). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christian Bend Cemetery Church.
