He is survived by: his wife Carroll Miller Smith; his children, Fayne "Rusty" Smith and Dawn D. Smith; his grandchildren, Jessica Smith Hilton (Brandan), Hayden Paul Smith and Jeremiah Paul Marshall; and his sisters, Janice Smith Shipley (Ed) and Nida Smith Clark (Donnie).
