He was predeceased by: his sister Victoria Gray; his granddaughter Destiny Stapleton; his nephew Philip Gray of Homer Osborne; and his brothers-in-law, Jimmy Baldwin and Leroy Hudson.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Gray; his children, Paul Gray (Casey), Jimmy Gray (Beverly), Stella Stapleton (Mike), Charlotte Stinson (Jimmy) and Morgan Brooks; his siblings, Mark Gray (Savenneh), Roscoe Gray (Judy), Oakley, Charolette Martin (Freddy) and Kathy Osborne (Homer); and his brothers-in-law, Jimmy Salyers and John Skeens.
