She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ward and Betty Ward; and her husband John Staples. She is survived by: her children, Pam Kettinger of Kingsport, Clayton Davis, Jr. of Kingsport and Gerald Davis of Johnson City. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
