It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda Carol (Stacy) Dykes (Church Hill, Tennessee), born in Duffield, Virginia, who passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband J. H. "Tommy" Dykes; her parents, James D. Stacy and Bonnie Stacy (Hall); and her siblings, Betty Jones, Brenda Mullins, Shelby Gouge, Billie Jean Stacy, Jimmie Stacy and Larry Stacy.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Cook (Murray), Cathy Franklin (Bobby), Lynn Dykes and David Dykes (Nacole); her grandchildren, Savannah, Jake, Jared Cook (Megan), Tori Franklin (Evan), Tristan Franklin, Dane Dykes, Dawson Dykes and Brook Dykes; and her brother Harry Stacy (Charlene). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home (320 Grandview St, Church Hill, TN 37642). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 12:30 PM and at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to North Fork Missionary Baptist Church, 3114 Goshen Valley Road, Rogersville, TN 37857, C/O Marty Mowell.
