He was predeceased by: his parents, Enoch Cox and Ida Kate Cox. He is survived by: his wife Ginger Wright; his daughter Beth Wright; and his siblings, Ruby Marshall, Mary Marshall, Reta Ford, Paul Cox, George Cox, Fred Cox and Robert Cox. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the concerns of COVID-19, a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
