He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben C. Gibson and Nora Dell Gibson (Rhea); his brother Reece Gibson (Phyllis); and his grandparents, Walter, Bertha Rhea, Jessee and Lizzy Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva Larkins Gibson; his daughters, Sandra Larkins Moorehouse (John) and Rebecca Gibson; his siblings, Jean Hamilton, Donna Hughes (Greg) and Keith Gibson (Brenda); and his grandchildren, Kaylee, Emilee Slagle-Moorehouse, Kevin Espinoza and Jade Reinhart.
