He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hughes and Della Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Nella Mae Hughes; and his children, Terry Hughes John Hughes, Jr. (Mary Clare) and Dewanna Baksh. He is also survived by 2 brothers, and 1 sister; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Due to the concerns of COVID-19, a visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home (without the family present).
