He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth "Ann" Pearson Christian; and his parents, Dennis Edward Christian Sr. and Cora Robbins Christian. He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Christian Sumners (Shane) and Brooke Christian; his brother Edward'Ed'Christian; his grandchildren, Sydney Sumners Harrod (Turner) and Chase Sumners; his niece Tonya Christian Bolden (Joey); and his nephew Jake Jerome Christian (Heather).
