James Edgar Alley Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2024, at the age of 101, James Edgar Alley (Church Hill, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Annie Louise Alley (McConnell); his wife Elsie Lee Alley; and his brother Elmer Alley. He is survived by: his sister Marie Merrill; his children, Linda Bruner (J. T.) of Church Hill and Ronald Alley (Carol) of Surgoinsville; his granddaughters, Tonya Mottern (Jeremiah) of Knoxville, Kishon Agee (Robby) of Kingsport and Julie Hensley (Travis) of Surgoinsville; his great grandchildren, Lauren Vanzant (Jacob), Kara, Cailyn Agee, Griffen and Dalen Hensley; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Gavin, Ezra and Ellie Mottern; and his great great grandchildren, J. P. and Cody. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
