She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence "Red" Ward and Vergie Ward; her son Eddie "Redbone" Patterson (Hugh "Pat" Patterson); and her siblings, Cody Ward and Inabell Marsh.
She is survived by: her daughter Iva Dell; her grandsons, Jason Patterson (Angie) of Church Hill and Eddie Patterson (Megan) of Church Hill; her great grandchildren, Madison, Maci and Mckenna Patterson; her siblings, Imogene Eikenberry of Greeneville, Barbara Mitchell (Tim) of Greeneville, Rhonda Dobbs (Grover Jr.) of Church Hill, Coy Ward, Ronald Ward (Jo Ann) of Greeneville and Wade Ward (Judy) of Rogersville; and her brother-in-law Paul Marsh. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
